SHELL-MOULD Foundry

Use

Used by small to medium manufacturers. Its flexibility allows for the production of complex parts, with elaborate internal structures, thanks to the use of highly precise shell moulding cores

Technical characteristics

There is a good balance between mechanical characteristics, resistance and aesthetic quality, thus ensuring a proper surface finish. Possibility to perform hardening and tempering treatments.

Production facilities

From manual shell-mould and semi-automatic lines to robotised facilities equipped with loading and unloading robots, manufacturing components of different sizes and weights: from a few grams up to 60 Kg.

Production

The raw components are cut, deflashed, cleaned and, when required, sandblasted according to the client's demands.

Controls and analysis

The testing laboratory is an integral part of the production process. This allows the metallurgical and structural levels of production to be kept under control, in compliance with UNI standards.

High expectations

After these phases, the product can be subjected to specific treatments so as to guarantee better aesthetic and mechanical qualities.
